Fr. Albera’s Story

“Around 2:30 pm his body was carried to the parish church near the Shrine. He was dressed in surplice and stole, his hands holding a crucifix and a rosary”.

…The funeral was held on October 30. 

“The whole morning, from 5:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. when the coffin was finally closed, thousands upon thousands of people paid him homage with prayers and tender signs of affection…” (reported in The Moment, a Turin newspaper)
