Fr. Albera’s Story

As the representative of Fr. Michael Rua, the Rector Major at the time, Fr. Albera visited all the houses of the Salesians and FMA in North and South America. This was a marathon not only because it took three years to complete the trek from Terra del Fuego to the New York, but also because the means of transportation were so poor that he often had to return on his tracks in order to make a connection for his next destination (he returned to Buenos Aires no less than eleven times!).
